I've been gone a while...

Guess I was so new to blogging that I didn't know how to update it after I started it. 

I ran across my blog when I googled myself.  So here I am.

Just a few days from Christmas and my Christmas cards...now New Year's cards aren't even designed yet.  Reviewing all we did in 2011 so I can do my annual summary, but this year it will be more pictures than words.  Now that we have facebook I feel less and less compelled to do it, but I know there are many who enjoy it, so I continue doing it in one form or another.

Katie started VPK, Sofia started 1st grade, Natalie started her first year in college and Daniel is taking a break from school until he realizes he will need it to get out of the restaurant business...Life lessons at every level!

This past year we did some travels - Orlando, Puerto Plata...wow, I think that was it!  I will need to work on that for 2012.  We bought a boat this year, so I guess that forced us to stay local a bit more.

Travel for next year - cousin's wedding in Venezuela, spring break in Mexico, 10th wedding anniversary in Fiji (once we find a sitter that will stay for a week+ while we go SOLO!), another week in Mexico (gotta use that timeshare!), a week in Orlando (another part of the timeshare), a cruise somewhere and some weekends on the boat.  All this fun travel in between school, cheerleading competitions (some of which will require some travel too), soccer and of course work...but having 7 weeks of vacation really helps balance all those!

Can you believe I'm just now bloggin'?

I've been reading blogs all weekend to keep up with what is going on at Creative Memories' annual Showcase convention in MN and decided it was time to start one of my own.

My name is Adriana Sanson Mederos.  I'm also known as A, Adri, Babe, Biatch (it's happened), Daughter, Mom, Mommy, Mama, Scrapbookin' lady, Sister, Stepmom, and Zena.  I'm a mother of 2 young toddlers ages 3 & 5, stepmom to 2 young adults ages 20 & 17 and wife to an awesome husband.

Not real sure what I'm going to do with this blog, or even if I'm going to advertise it.  I can definitely see me sharing my passion for scrapbooking with Creative Memories since I've been doing that 'part time' for the past 10 years...and I'm sure my girls will share the spotlight with that passion, specially since the pages I make have them as starring roles!

I guess I'll just have to see where this takes us...other than spending even MORE time on the computer...my awesome husband will just LOVE that - LOL!
