Well, we now know what the new CM will look like.

It's what I expected, a more simplified product line and party plan to attempt to attract a wider audience, but unfortunately we've left the loyal traditional scrapbookers and digital scrapbookers in the dust.
I plan to support traditional and digital scrapbookers by continuing to schedule day and weekend scrapbooking workshops/retreats, but at some point my in stock inventory will run out and I will just have tape runners, refills, pens and fast to fabulous albums, pages and refills.
I'm still doing digital scrapbooking with Storybook Creator software and would encourage you to do the same because the software is AWESOME...and if you didn't get a chance to purchase it, you can now purchase Panstoria's software using the links on THIS blog. This is how I will get credit for the sale, so I would appreciate your support so I can continue doing what I love to do - help others with their photo projects.

Just under 3 days left...
I'm cohosting a 3 day retreat in Naples, FL this weekend...our final retreat with Creative Memories (as we know it).
This is the last chance to place orders (for any product that might remain in the warehouse), order digital projects from the CM digital center, the final chance to use any product credits that haven't expired.
www.creativememories.com will be shutdown after Monday, September 23rd, 2013.
My June/July/August orders FINALLY started arriving. The UPS man was coming daily for a few weeks there...only 1 shipment remains and then I'm done...until the next adventure is unveiled.
In the meantime, I will continue to offer crops at my home (once I find the right dates), scheduled Croptoberfest in Delray Beach for Saturday, Oct 26th and I'm searching for a location for a January/February 3 day retreat.
I also started a new little gig to buy some gifts at cost and have a little fun with my friends --> www.hootwme.origamiowl.com This will never replace my passion for taking and preserving pictures and stories, but it's another fun way to tell your story, with jewelry...and who wouldn't want to host./attend a Jewelry Bar!

Happy Labor Day!
I hope everyone is enjoying the day off from work - if you were so lucky to get a Holiday today.
Creative Memories retracted their decision to end contracts on 8/31/2013, so I'm still an active Creative Memories Independent Consultant.
Customers are no longer able to order off my website www.mycmsite.com/adrianamederos, but I can still place orders on their behalf...so if there's something you can't live without, please let me know so I can do my best to get it for you.
I'm still waiting for June-August orders to ship, but CM assures us that they will be moving out of the warehouse this month...anxiously waiting for UPS notices and for brown to appear in my driveway with packages for me and my customers.
The Pixels2Pages event in Delray was AWESOME. The training was excellent. Highly recommend it if it ever comes to your area.

Creative Memories Consultants have an end date
It was announced during a call yesterday. Our end date is August 31st, 2013.
It also happens to be my 11 year wedding anniversary and exactly 4931 days since I first signed up.
A sad day indeed...

I'm back...really I am this time...
3 years after I started this blog, I'm back again and for a similar reason.
Creative Memories (aka CM).
I've been an Indpendent Consultant for CM for over 13 years. Buying quality scrapbooking tools, teaching great techniques to get it done to hundreds of people...and now CM as we know it might cease to exist after this Fall...
I still plan on offering scrapbooking workshops, one on ones, weekend retreats...so I needed a place for people to see what I was up to - hence the blog update.
I'm still not 100% on where this blog will go, but for now use it as another reference.
You can continue to order CM products from my website, but please note that all traditional products are while supplies last WSL. Please contact me BEFORE purchasing any digital products as I want you to be 100% aware of what could/will happen in the next few months with that

I've been gone a while...
Guess I was so new to blogging that I didn't know how to update it after I started it.
I ran across my blog when I googled myself. So here I am.
Just a few days from Christmas and my Christmas cards...now New Year's cards aren't even designed yet. Reviewing all we did in 2011 so I can do my annual summary, but this year it will be more pictures than words. Now that we have facebook I feel less and less compelled to do it, but I know there are many who enjoy it, so I continue doing it in one form or another.
Katie started VPK, Sofia started 1st grade, Natalie started her first year in college and Daniel is taking a break from school until he realizes he will need it to get out of the restaurant business...Life lessons at every level!
This past year we did some travels - Orlando, Puerto Plata...wow, I think that was it! I will need to work on that for 2012. We bought a boat this year, so I guess that forced us to stay local a bit more.
Travel for next year - cousin's wedding in Venezuela, spring break in Mexico, 10th wedding anniversary in Fiji (once we find a sitter that will stay for a week+ while we go SOLO!), another week in Mexico (gotta use that timeshare!), a week in Orlando (another part of the timeshare), a cruise somewhere and some weekends on the boat. All this fun travel in between school, cheerleading competitions (some of which will require some travel too), soccer and of course work...but having 7 weeks of vacation really helps balance all those!

Can you believe I'm just now bloggin'?
I've been reading blogs all weekend to keep up with what is going on at Creative Memories' annual Showcase convention in MN and decided it was time to start one of my own.
My name is Adriana Sanson Mederos. I'm also known as A, Adri, Babe, Biatch (it's happened), Daughter, Mom, Mommy, Mama, Scrapbookin' lady, Sister, Stepmom, and Zena. I'm a mother of 2 young toddlers ages 3 & 5, stepmom to 2 young adults ages 20 & 17 and wife to an awesome husband.
Not real sure what I'm going to do with this blog, or even if I'm going to advertise it. I can definitely see me sharing my passion for scrapbooking with Creative Memories since I've been doing that 'part time' for the past 10 years...and I'm sure my girls will share the spotlight with that passion, specially since the pages I make have them as starring roles!
I guess I'll just have to see where this takes us...other than spending even MORE time on the computer...my awesome husband will just LOVE that - LOL!
