More changes for Ahni & Zoe...

Last week Co-Founder of Creative Memories Rhonda Anderson resigned from Ahni & Zoe creating a max exodus of many long time CM leaders.

They are going to Heritage Makers with the promise that the parent company will work with Rhonda to create the CM products everyone loved...the ones Ahni & Zoe chose not to keep or make.

Not sure what is going to happen or when...but I'm staying right where I am.

• I have lots of CM inventory to use and sell
• I LOVE my CM software and it still works and does everything I need it to do thanks to Panstoria (the original authors of the CM software)
• Starting March 3rd I'll be an official affiliate with Panstoria Print Shop and eligible for a 10% discount on my future purchases so I can continue to click on the ORDER button from the software I use and love.

This last move has created a HUGE divide between former CMCs, A&Z reps and now the HM Rhonda followers (PS, some CMCs got there first so it wouldn't be fair to stereotype them all).

Sadly...we all just want to preserve photos and stories and have fun with friends while doing it...but some need to really MAKE $ from this business, while others are truly just following their heart.

Ahni & Zoe has surrendered to the request for blank pages and page protectors....for some, a little too late as other alternatives have been found.

I personally found it very difficult to let any of my pages/pp in my current inventory go without knowing that I could replace them.

I can now offer to sell some of my inventory and replace with the products Ahni & Zoe is now selling.

These pages and page protectors will fit the former CM 12x12 True albums as well as the new A&Z 12x12 albums.

Bundles of pages and page protectors are $29.50.  At first glance you might think you are paying a higher premium, but you really aren't.  Older packages had 15 pages/pp, these have 16...so the difference is just a few pennies per page protector.

You can also purchase extra packs of page protectors for $10.50.  Again 16 per pack.  This is great if you've found an extra album or set of pages you didn't take into account in your last page.

2013 Holidays are over and it's time to get serious about working the new business.

Products are limited to a few fast to fabulous albums, coversets with slide in pages for horizontal, vertical or 12x12 papers.  Options are limited to assist people in buying and actually completing an album with their photos.

The inawink app isn't available yet...no date on when it will be...but it appears to have some GREAT features for people who don't do anything with photos other than take them.

If you got into digital scrapbooking thanks to CM, you can continue with me and my Panstoria software and art kits...but please contact me before buying anything so you understand what you are buying.

Well, we now know what the new CM will look like.

It's what I expected, a more simplified product line and party plan to attempt to attract a wider audience, but unfortunately we've left the loyal traditional scrapbookers and digital scrapbookers in the dust.

I plan to support traditional and digital scrapbookers by continuing to schedule day and weekend scrapbooking workshops/retreats, but at some point my in stock inventory will run out and I will just have tape runners, refills, pens and fast to fabulous albums, pages and refills.

I'm still doing digital scrapbooking with Storybook Creator software and would encourage you to do the same because the software is AWESOME...and if you didn't get a chance to purchase it, you can now purchase Panstoria's software using the links on THIS blog.  This is how I will get credit for the sale, so I would appreciate your support so I can continue doing what I love to do - help others with their photo projects.

I'm cohosting a 3 day retreat in Naples, FL this weekend...our final retreat with Creative Memories (as we know it).

This is the last chance to place orders (for any product that might remain in the warehouse), order digital projects from the CM digital center, the final chance to use any product credits that haven't expired.

My June/July/August orders FINALLY started arriving.  The UPS man was coming daily for a few weeks there...only 1 shipment remains and then I'm done...until the next adventure is unveiled.

In the meantime, I will continue to offer crops at my home (once I find the right dates), scheduled Croptoberfest in Delray Beach for Saturday, Oct 26th and I'm searching for a location for a January/February 3 day retreat.

I hope everyone is enjoying the day off from work - if you were so lucky to get a Holiday today.

Creative Memories retracted their decision to end contracts on 8/31/2013, so I'm still an active Creative Memories Independent Consultant.

Customers are no longer able to order off my website www.mycmsite.com/adrianamederos, but I can still place orders on their behalf...so if there's something you can't live without, please let me know so I can do my best to get it for you.

I'm still waiting for June-August orders to ship, but CM assures us that they will be moving out of the warehouse this month...anxiously waiting for UPS notices and for brown to appear in my driveway with packages for me and my customers.

The Pixels2Pages event in Delray was AWESOME.  The training was excellent.  Highly recommend it if it ever comes to your area.

The Naples Scrapbooking Weekend Sep 20-22 will be just as awesome.  Our official farewell to CM as we know it.  Something will emerge Nov 1st, we just don't have details on WHAT that will be...
