Is it time to upgrade your CM software to Panstoria software?

Maybe...at this time it's still a personal choice, but here's some information to help you make an educated choice..

Memory Manager or Historian?

• Memory Manager 3.0 and 4.0 still work just fine if you installed and activated before 12/31/2013
• No further updates are available, so whatever bugs the software has will continue
• Backing up your vault is critical, lose that and you will lose all your pictures and all the tagging, ranking and journaling you may have done in the vault
• An upgrade to the OS or even some Windows updates could force you to reinstall the software, making it unusable after 12/31/2013
• No support is available other than existing knowledge base of former CM Consultants like myself 
• Historian just got some new updates, including the Perfectly Clear technology that Memory Manager had and Historian didn't
• Software is just $39.95
• Fully supported by Panstoria and Panstoria Affiliates like myself

 Storybook Creator or Artisan?

• Storybook 3.0 and 4.0 still work just fine if you installed and activated before 12/31/2013
• The last update from Panstoria allows CM software customers to click on the ORDER button and order items through Panstoria Print Shop, just like you did with CM Photo Center before Sep 2013
• Backing up your projects, content and activation codes is critical
• An upgrade to the OS or even some Windows updates could force you to reinstall the software, making it unusable after 12/31/2013
• No support is available other than existing knowledge base of former CM Consultants like myself
• Artisan has some great new projects for products offered by Panstoria Print Shop
• Software is just $39.95 and you can install on 2 (TWO) machines
• Fully supported by Panstoria and Panstoria Affiliates like myself

I still have a mix of CM and Panstoria installed, but I do want to support Panstoria as much as possible...if it weren't for them, we wouldn't have options to continue using the software we use and love and continue using the content we spent lots of time and money purchasing and organizing.

More changes for Ahni & Zoe...

Last week Co-Founder of Creative Memories Rhonda Anderson resigned from Ahni & Zoe creating a max exodus of many long time CM leaders.

They are going to Heritage Makers with the promise that the parent company will work with Rhonda to create the CM products everyone loved...the ones Ahni & Zoe chose not to keep or make.

Not sure what is going to happen or when...but I'm staying right where I am.

• I have lots of CM inventory to use and sell
• I LOVE my CM software and it still works and does everything I need it to do thanks to Panstoria (the original authors of the CM software)
• Starting March 3rd I'll be an official affiliate with Panstoria Print Shop and eligible for a 10% discount on my future purchases so I can continue to click on the ORDER button from the software I use and love.

This last move has created a HUGE divide between former CMCs, A&Z reps and now the HM Rhonda followers (PS, some CMCs got there first so it wouldn't be fair to stereotype them all).

Sadly...we all just want to preserve photos and stories and have fun with friends while doing it...but some need to really MAKE $ from this business, while others are truly just following their heart.
