What do you need to know about Artisan5?

UPDATES  FROM FOREVER LIVE 2015:

• Artisan5 was released to the public Sep 24th.  All new software has bugs.  If you don't want to be the one finding them, wait 30 days and let others find them for you.  The Artisan development team is doing an AWESOME job addressing the ones already found...first update is already in the works...you can click on this link to get the latest updates.  It will do a full install if you don't have Artisan5 or just an update if you run it on a machine that has Artisan5 installed  http://www.panstoria.com/download-artisan5-update.html  The installed update should show this version in the About box: 5.0.5750.23897 Some people running Artisan5 may not see the update notification due to a bug in the early versions, so it’s not a bad idea to just download and install this update, just to be sure
• Artisan5 is only available in 64 bit version.  If you have a 32bit machine, you will need to remain on Artisan4 until you upgrade your machine
• Artisan5 can still be used on two machines with 1 license, just like Artisan4
• Artisan5 is NOT web based.  You can continue working with it offline like you always have
• Artisan5 does not override Artisan4 files/directories, so you can run both versions on the same machine, but once you are done validating Artisan5 you can safely uninstall Artisan4
• Content from SB 3, SB 4 and Artisan 4 can be used in Artisan5 without issue


Projects created in SB 3, SB 4 and Artisan 4 can be opened and edited in Artisan5, but once they are, they can NOT be used in the older software versions
Projects created in Artisan5 cannot be opened in prior SB or Artisan versions
Artisan5 is connected to new Forever Print Shop and once printed will be stored in Forever Projects.  If you had projects printed at Panstoria Print Shop in the past, they WILL be merged over the next few weeks, so nothing should be lost.  If you attended FOREVER LIVE! yours should have already been migrated
Artisan5 retails for $59.95
Artisan5 upgrade is $29.99.  You will need to enter your Artisan4 activation code as well as the new Artisan5 codes to fully activate
